Drinking Water
Shanea Daniels

For the month of March we will focus on hydration and the importance of drinking water. As a water drinker myself, it has its benefits:

Healthy skin

Prevents Dehydration

Supports Digestion

Supports Cardiovascular Health to name a few

Now I'm not saying that you should go cold turkey on drinking sodas and sugary drinks. But It would be good to start somewhere. Then we have to ask ourselves what am I putting in my body? Is it good for me in the long run? Would I encourage my loved ones to do it?

I believe we all have an opportunity to be better. Why not start now?

If you like plain water, then cool! But if you like to be fancy, then you can throw in Fruits with your water and here are some benefits:

Water infused with Oranges

Lower Cholesterol

Boost heart health

Protects against sickness

Protect your eye health and Vision

Water infused with Cucumbers

Delivers Antioxidants

Helps with Weight loss

Keeps you hydrated

Water infused with Raspberries

Boosting Blood Circulation

Helps bring down high blood pressure numbers

Combating water retention and reducing swelling

These are benefits of some fruits but there are more fruits that you can add to personalize your infused water.

Now we can start off with a few glasses a day to get going but if you are serious about water hydration, then you can certainly research water bottles at your local sporting goods store to purchase or Amazon. Another option is to use a pitcher of water and add fruits to the pitcher to drink throughout the day.

Let me know if you have any questions! And Good Luck to you all!
